Chocolate Ruby

I started using this palette many years ago. When I started exploring colour combinations I felt worked together, I wanted rich, warm, luxurious winter colours.  They conjure up cosy, dark comforting evenings. 

This collection was inspired by the image of a hen/chicken, for some reason when I created my first lamp many years ago I had images of the feathers and colour combinations present on a humble hens body in my mind.

I have made a wide range of candleholders, lamps, mirrors, picture frames, bowls, plates wall art and sculptural fused glass art using this palette.  This combination has constantly evolved and changed over the years but its humble beginnings have a place close to my heart.
